About OmDayal Group Of Institutions
The OmDayal College of Engineering and Architecture also known as OMDayal Group of Institutions was established in 2011 to educate engineers and architects. The OmDayal Group of Institutions was established to improve the quality of education and provide the most pleasing possible environment for knowledge sharing.
The group wants to be a reputable institute and effect change in the field of technical education in West Bengal, by offering a comprehensive range of programs of international standards and transforming students into globally competent individuals. The mission of the college is to "give students opportunities to develop their innate abilities."
OmDayal Group of Institutions has been NAAC accredited and offers engineering and architecture courses affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of
Technology (MAKAUT), earstwhile West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). The engineering and architecture courses have been approved by AICTE and
COA, respectively. OmDayal Group of Institutions keeps on constantly upgrading its teaching and learning practices.
OmDayal Group of Institutions is located on NH6 about 30 kilometers away from Kolkata at the Uluberia Industrial Growth Center, which is within a walking distance of the Birshibpur Railway Station.

- For admission to BTech, candidates must get a valid score/rank in one among JEE Main or WBJEE. - Admission to BArch is subject to a valid score in NATA 2023.

There is now a health center on the college campus, staffed by professional nursing staff available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and a doctor on call from a super specialty hospital in the region, which is handy for students and professors alike. Regularly, according to the university, the on-campus police station is open to inmates who have been released from jail and are looking for work. In addition, students and staff are transported to local hospitals as soon as possible in the event of a medical emergency on campus, thanks to the institute's emergency transportation services.
Women's and men's hostel amenities are situated in separate buildings with entrances and entry points to create a more private experience for guests. In addition, two residence halls on the college's campus, both well-equipped in the event of a power outage, are available to students and teachers alike.

This was a webinar organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering on 29th April 2022 via google meet. The speaker for this webinar was Ms. Jeenia Dey, the Assistant Professor of the Electrical Engineering Department from Swami Vivekananda Group of Institutions. The webinar was on the DIAlux, a software that allows users to calculate & modify the lighting designs and execute communication between both indoor & outdoor spaces, daylight control systems & road lighting.
World Earth Day Celebration
They organized a tree plantation drive on 22nd April 2022, the Department of Science and Humanities to mark World Earth Day. The main objective of this drive was to add trees to the environment and pay respect to Mother Nature/Earth while raising awareness of the impending climatic change & its contribution to global warming.
